Who we are

It started in the back of a diesel truck, one of us a decade into equine practice, the other an entrepreneur in the veterinary imaging industry. Darcie was just beginning her journey toward veterinary school and eager to explore the equine world. It didn’t take long before a steady stream of meaningful conversations began to flow.

As we talked, we shared aspirations for the veterinary field, our ambition to build a business, and the emerging dream of transforming veterinary imaging. In each other, we found a match in energy, work ethic, and moral compass.

By the end of that first ride-along, Lindsey said something that etched itself into memory: “When you’re ready, reach back out. People like you and I need to stick together.” Neither of us knew what the future held, but we both recognized the spark of something meaningful.

Years later, our paths crossed again. We reconnected at a time when we were both navigating challenges in our professional journeys. As we talked openly about the setbacks and frustrations we were facing, we listened to each other with the same intention, respect, and integrity that had defined our very first meeting. It didn’t take long before the conversation shifted from reflection to possibility. Together, we acknowledged the same truth: we needed to stick together. And with that, the question naturally followed—What can we build together?

At first, we weren’t sure how our worlds could truly align—one of us deeply rooted in equine practice, the other driven toward radiology and advanced imaging. But as our conversations continued, it became clear that our visions weren’t separate at all—they were perfectly complementary. Together, we recognized a glaring need in the Tucson area: limited access to advanced diagnostic imaging across all species. And together, we had the passion, expertise, and determination to fill that void. What started as a few conversations and text messages quickly transformed from a distant idea into something real and entirely achievable.

And so, RadVet Imaging was born.

Built on shared vision, relentless drive, and a mutual belief that exceptional veterinary medicine should be accessible to every species, RadVet Imaging became the bridge between aspiration and innovation. Our center will house the only equine CT machine in the state of Arizona, eliminating the need for patients to travel across state lines for answers. It will welcome every animal from the tiniest gecko to the tallest horse and offer high-quality ultrasound and cutting-edge CT imaging to support veterinarians and pet owners alike.

RadVet is more than a business. It is the product of two aligned paths, two matched work ethics, and a partnership founded on integrity, passion, and purpose. It is a place where excellence is the standard. A place where innovation meets compassion. A place built by people who love animals and who believe the veterinary industry can always reach higher.

This is our story.
